Shipping Lines have dramatically increased their terminal handling charges on full load containers to shippers and forwarders, even though they are pushing the ports for reduced rates.

H M Revenue & Customs are notifying all importers and exporters that the current Trader Unique Reference Number (TURN) systems will cease in the UK on 30th June 2009. It will be replaced by Economic Operator Registration and Identification (EORI).
